Under the protection of the crescent moon, sleep lets the soul venture into the imaginary. Our closed eyes explore new horizons, our lips taste another life — and when we wake, we return deeply changed.
The Sommeil pendant is one of the few Aphéa jewels made using the lost-wax casting technique. The original piece was sculpted directly in brass with gravers and burins. This method takes long, meticulous work, which is why we chose to reproduce the jewel through casting. Each piece remains unique, as every cast is reworked by hand, one by one. On the Sommeil, a few tool marks remain, witnesses to the artisan's gesture and the jewel's ancient soul. The brushed finish creates soft reflections.

Care instructions+
Each piece is made by hand. From one jewel to the next, certain curves and details may differ slightly. Your jewellery lives with you — but remember to take it off before showering or washing your hands. Also avoid contact with make-up, perfume and creams: these products can react with the metal and speed up its wear. Finally, to keep its shine for as long as possible, store your jewellery in its case or pouch when you are not wearing it.
